Buy tickets on your phone

With the tixiPASS app, you can buy tickets and travel straight away using my smartphone!  

How does it work? 

  1. Download the tixiPASS app
  2. Create an account and select the MAT network from the list of available networks
  3. Select your ticket type (single journey, 10-journey ticket, 24-hour ticket, 7-day ticket, 24/48/72-hour ticket for 5 people), the quantity, then pay via secure credit card payment; you will receive your invoice by email.
  4. Purchased tickets appear in the ‘remaining tickets’ section
  5. Tap ‘validate ticket’ each time you board, and show the ticket on your mobile in the event of a ticket inspection

Since June 2025, the MAT transit network has introduced a new, quick and easy way to validate your ticket: using a contactless credit card directly on board the bus.
 
Thanks to this new feature, getting around becomes even easier: simply tap your contactless credit card or smartphone on the validator when boarding. An ideal solution for occasional passengers, tourists, or visitors, who no longer need a physical ticket.

✅ How does it work?

Hold your contactless card up to one of the dedicated validators.
If you hear a single beep and see the green light, your trip is validated.
Your validation is complete. You can travel freely throughout the MAT network for 1 hour and 30 minutes. You will be charged the total amount for all tickets purchased (excluding transfers).
 

Validation via credit card allows you to purchase 1-hour-and-30-minute tickets for €2 per trip.
